"Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe...." Psalms 60:8
This weekend, those who would destroy our liberty conducted another cold blooded terrorist act against all that is good and holy and free, and, this time, our Leader himself came under assault, undermining all of our carefully constructed illusions of safety. In the heart of Baghdad's Green Zone, a man threw one, and then a second shoe direclty at our President. As his security detail stood frozen in horror, the only things that saved Bush from being hit by one or perhaps even both shoes, were his cat like evasive reflexes, developed over the last eight years of being universally loathed by 99 percent of humanity.
But our pride in our leader's quick reaction was quickly followed by an intense fear, as we realize that we are now confronted with the terrible reality of a further escalation in the War on Terror. Once again, our enemies have raised the stakes, and we are left to defend freedom from yet another nightmarish and barbaric tactic. Follow me after the flip for a more thorough analysis of the crisis we face.
